Competitive Analysis
I analyzed 3 existing platforms for learning and practicing vocabulary: Duolingo, Lingo, and Vocabulary, to gain insights on current market trends and see how they addressed similar problems.
User Interviews
I conducted user interviews with three participants to gain insights into their approach to learning new vocabulary. I tried to understand their needs and wants and apply these insights when designing a new vocabulary app.
User Personas
Created a persona that can represent user goals, behaviors, and pain points.
User Flow
Based on the key objectives of persona, I created a user flow that allows users to navigate through the app to accomplish their goals.
Site Map
I created a sitemap with 3 main pages: Home, Favorites, and Profile, which help users to understand their surroundings and find what they’re looking for.
Wireframes
I have created low-fidelity wireframes based on initial ideas and details. When the structure of content and functionality was in place, I moved on to the mid-fidelity wireframes followed by high-fidelity wireframes.

Conclusion
As this is my first design project, I got a chance to get familiar with the design thinking process and also got hands-on experience on different tools such as Marvel, Miro, and Figma.
Next Steps
Adding more screens that cover additional functionalities like user profile etc.
Making the app more interactive and easy to use by adding visual elements to it.
Perform usability tests and gather feedback for further improvements.
